My name is Jennifer. I'm 23 and a recent college graduate. When I started college at the age of 18 I definitely gained the freshman 15 and as time went on I ended up gaining a total of 30 lbs. I know 30 lbs may not be a lot to some people and there are many people out there who are obese and need to lose a large amount of weight, but I'm doing this for the average people out there. For the men and women like me who aren't really fat, but aren't quite happy with their bodies.

I created this blog to help me stay organized and motivated. I plan on posting all the recipes and pictures of what I like to eat. I will try to post everyday or at least every other day. I hope I can at least inspire one person from this blog. So, if you're interested in my weight loss goal and body transformation, stick with me and feel free to leave comments and ask questions. I would also love to hear what others are doing to help with their goals.

So a little about my year so far:

My new year's resolution, like many others, was to lose weight. In January I went to Ghana, Africa for a month. In February I began a plan for my weight loss goal. In March I got a gym membership and tried doing the weight loss thing on my own. In May I got an amazing personal trainer named Mandy who really helped with the diet. I have been going in and out with the Paleo diet. I like it, but I still cheat a lot. On September 15 I will begin the Whole 30. As of right now my weight stays in the 160s. My goal is to get down to 130 lbs. My body is changing and I'm excited to see the difference, but now I want the scale to change as well.
